It is important to base these on continuous dialogue and consultation with young minds and relevant stakeholders, with better focus on outcomes that are relevant to the realities of today.

These are necessary for them to engage as global digital citizens, to bring out their creative and entrepreneurial selves to the fullest, while safeguarding their rights.

As the number of people learning, working and engaging for various purposes online are increasing, we need our policy makers to play a much more active role in making the internet a safer place for future generations.
