I think some people need to understand that people can understand the duality of dynamics that can be family relations /or/ ships and that they don't necessarily always mingle the two in every verse.

There are people that do, and they are fine to do so as if their preference.

For instance: I enjoy Zhongxiao content.

I enjoy the ship, and also I enjoy Zhongli and Xiao content presented as if Zhongli took in Xiao as a son figure.

I don't intermingle or cross over the two but I also won't judge people that do, because that's their priority.

But there are many people that will see that and automatically assume I freely intermingle that content.

It's similar with different verses of how some people might enjoy Kae/luck as a concept in some verses, and where they're brothers in others?

That's their prerogative.

But I think it's important to acknowledge and respect it when people who enjoy both separately go

'This is their relationship here' and can separate different interpretations and verses of it, because they may not like crossing over those dynamics, too!

I see it sometimes where people will go 'oh, but that makes the dynamic better' and that's fine for you! You are allowed to enjoy whatever content you consume!

But please respect when people don't always want to combine both! It is common courtesy.

And I think, as a pro-ship space in fandom, we should put in effort to respect boundaries when people have them on their own content, too!

Someone having that divide for their own comfort, in their own spaces, without insulting others, isn't anti behavior.
