- One case arrived on 28 January and tested positive around day 12. They are in quarantine in Auckland.
- One case arrived on 30 January and tested positive around day 9. They are in quarantine in Auckland.

The 10 recovered cases to report today includes the previously reported border-related cases B, C and the case we reported on Saturday who was later deemed a historical case.
Case D is the only active case from this group and remains in a quarantine facility.

This is because there is an increasing number of people becoming infected and recovering before travelling to New Zealand.

Our testing may detect residual viral material in people's systems, but it's important to reiterate they are no longer considered to be infectious.
