.@Verizon, one of Fox’s biggest advertisers, made a strong statement in support of racial justice, but they hand Fox millions to lie about George Floyd and defend white supremacists.
.@gm and @cadillac, major sponsors of Fox News, gave $10 million to fund racial justice. Today, they continue to sponsor Fox shows which say Black Lives Matter has torn the fabric of our country.
.@Amazon is one of Fox News’ largest advertisers, sponsoring a network that said George Floyd didn’t die because of police brutality, yet they donated $10 million to racial justice just last summer.
.@Allstate, a major sponsor of Fox News and their claims that we’re being lied to about white supremacists storming the Capitol building, said of racial justice this summer, “We’ve been listening”. Clearly, they haven’t been listening to Tucker Carlson.
.@KraftHeinzCo, in the very top spenders on Fox News, which says corporations tore at the fabric of our country by supporting Black Lives Matter, gave $1 million to support racial justice just last summer.
.@LibertyMutual, who supported Black Lives Matter with donations to charities last summer, is now one of the largest advertisers on Fox News, which blamed drugs on George Floyd’s death.
.@progressive said,”Black Lives Matter to us” last year, and are still spending millions for Fox to tell their audience that Black Lives Matter destroyed our cities, but we’re being lied to about white supremacists storming the Capitol.
.@Novartis remains one of Fox News’ biggest advertisers, as the network lies about protestors looking for an end to racial oppression, yet they “believe unequivocally that Black Lives Matter.”
.@ProcterGamble has done lots of work around making people aware of racial injustice, but remains one of Fox’s most prominent advertisers, even as the network lies about the death of George Floyd and defends white supremacist insurrectionists.
Advertising isn’t just trying to reach audiences. It’s an investment in more of the content you’re paying for.
These brands can’t have it both ways.
You’re either FOR racial justice and against white supremacy or you’re not.
By sponsoring Fox News, you’re not.
In fact, you’re making it a lot harder to achieve racial justice when you pay Fox to openly denigrate it like this.

Everyone is rightly horrified by Marjorie Taylor Greene, but no one is talking about is that she’s the first Congressperson whose worldview was created by being extremely online.
She’s a mix of 8Chan, InfoWars, Breitbart, The Daily Wire and The Daily Stormer and leans on each at different times or all at the same time.
You literally cannot achieve this type of worldview without being on social networks and message boards all day long.
She’s now being asked questions about these ideas because she’s now in the real world, in government, where they are not (yet) mainstreamed and she’s struggling with it because she’s not posting on @facebook.
None of these things make sense to people who aren’t extremely online.
If you weren’t aware, Alex Jones has an @amazon storefront. That’s right. Amazon helps a person who claims he planned the Insurrection and has harassed Sandy Hook parents. Not only that, they PROFIT from it.
It’s difficult to overestimate how much loosely moderated social platforms combined with payment platforms have created an absolute explosion of grifters who use algorithmically amplified anger to enrich themselves while destroying society.
