@bellingcat was able to reach the same conclusion made by the Eekad team. However, what is notable is that our experts were able to do so only a few days after the incident, which took place almost a month ago.

This only proves how efficient our team’s investigative efforts are. Eekad was the first platform in the Arab region and the world to pinpoint the exact geographical location from which the missiles were launched and proved that it was indeed Taiz and Dhamar.

#Eekad experts analyzed all the circulating videos using open-source intelligence. They were also the first to locate the launch sites and figure out the number of missiles aimed at the airport by the Houthi militia.

We were able to conclude that the Houthis launched four missiles by using shadow-setting tools and satellite maps. Three successfully launched while one failed to do so, landing at an agricultural area near Taiz airport.

What is worth mentioning is that Nick Waters, a senior investigator at @bellingcat and an expert at open-source intelligence investigations, corroborated our findings and praised our work when we contacted him a month ago to get his expert opinion on the matter.
