It's become commonplace to poke fun at the silly hypocrisy of media and Big Tech 'fact checkers.' The situation is actually far more dire than people realize.
Here's my own experience. /1
On Jan 20, I read Biden's EO on Gender Identity and tweeted my legal opinion: it would force public high schools to allow bio boys onto girls' teams, beginning the end of girls' sports.
I was proven right faster than I imagined. On Feb 2, the Administration confirmed this. /2
Nonetheless, within *days*, two news organizations (@USATODAY and @Newsweek) 'fact checked' my legal opinion & branded it 'false' or 'missing context.' That is absurd, not only bc it was an opinion (and correct!) but bc it takes time to know how the EO will be enforced. /3
But why was the media suddenly fact-checking my opinions? Today, a reader sent me screenshots of her efforts to post my Tweet. Instagram had slapped a warning on it that it was "missing context" and citing... the USAToday 'fact check.'
Here's the thing:
/4
Facebook (parent of Insta) *pays* USAToday for
'fact checks,' which Insta then uses to justify censorship of disfavored ideas. Big Tech, which has endless reserves, pays the mainstream media to bless its censorship. The paid-for media happily obliges.

In this case, the 'warning' was slapped on criticism of @WhiteHouse. So, on one side, we now have Silicon Valley, the bought-off media (comically referred to as 'independent, third-party fact checkers'), and the current administration. /6
On the other side, you have a few journalists, praying they won't be kicked off of Twitter for doing their job. /7

Here are four things about Kamala that swing state voters will care to know:
1) She is deeply hostile to American energy, calling to ban fracking and off-shore drilling.
2) She had no interest in securing our southern border, even when it was made her unique responsibility.
3) She fully supported Biden's policy of making gender medical transition *more accessible* to minors and Biden's push to include males in girls' sports.
4) In June of 2020, she urged her supporters to post bail for BLM rioters, even tweeting payment link.
But here are four attacks on Kamala that will backfire disastrously:
1) She is a dumb "DEI hire."
2) She's a slut who used sex to get ahead.
3) She has an awkward laugh and a goofy dance.
4) She locked up too many people for drug offenses.
Get the sense that we talk about on-campus harassment and intimidation differently when the subjects are Jewish students?
In 2017, an anonymous jerk put flyers with a Confederate flag and cotton around American University's campus. They read "Huzzah for Dixie" or similar.
🧵
2/ The university went into emergency response mode, treating these flyers as a criminal threat. It published CCTV video and immediately asked the public for help in identifying the man who posted the racist flyers.
America threw more preventative "mental health resources" at Gen Z than at any generation prior.
Therapeutic techniques guided how these kids were parented. Our kids were treated to "Social Emotional Learning," and "Empathy Education," and "Restorative Justice" at school.
/1
Schools hired large psych and counseling staffs to support them.
Kids had more access to therapists and psychiatric meds than any prior generation.
And these interventions were destigmatized to a degree that would have been unthinkable just two generations ago.
/2
Did this unprecedented investment succeed? Did we produce a happy, healthy, strong generation, eager and ready to take on the challenges of adulthood?
Quite the opposite. The entire project didn't simply fail - it backfired spectacularly.

This is Alexandra Orbuch, Jewish editor of Princeton’s conservative newspaper. A male student shoves a Palestinian flag in the way of her camera, then blocks her way, forcing her down a step.
According to Orbuch, one protester pushed her, stepped on her foot, trailed her closely when she tried to leave, in a form of harassment known as “bird dogging.”
This male student doesn’t bother to hide his face. He knows he’ll never be held accountable by his university.
/2
Imagine if this type of harassment of a female student had occurred at a Pride Rally or Take Back the Night event. It is unthinkable that the university would stand idly by.

Here is Harvard's statement on the invasion of Ukraine, from Feb 2022. It stakes out an incredibly clear moral position.
Harvard raised the Ukrainian flag on campus in solidarity.

On October 7, 2023, the Jewish state was invaded - its civilians subjected to unimaginable atrocities.
Harvard's president Claudine Gay equivocated for days on whether even to condemn Hamas, much less its joyful celebrants on her own campus.
/2
Meanwhile, Jewish students on her campus contend with the dozens of campus organizations - hundreds of students - engage in ongoing public celebration of the massacre.

My book was published this week in Israel, a country 1/50th the population of the US, where Amazon has little presence. Bowing to LGBTQ+ activist pressure, the two largest book chains refused to carry the book, which made it hard to buy in Israel.
1/
Nonetheless, hundreds immediately registered (and paid) to attend my talk in Tel Aviv.
/2
Next, PRIDE bullied two large venues in Tel Aviv to cancel my talk, threatening to boycott those venues for all of PRIDE month if they allowed me to speak.
