NEWS: Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas just came out with a new brief Tesla report few minutes ago:

"From our perspective, at least, we’d say the chances of there not being a material shortage of battery cell capacity relative to demand is remote."

When ARK Invest releases their new annual Tesla research report in a few weeks and if it includes an increased price target, I think that is the next “catalyst” for $TSLA. Based on their probability table, I’d be surprised if they didn’t up their price target for 2025.

1/3
Certainly probabilities have changed since they released that probability table in Jan 2020. A ton more people follow Cathie and ARK invest then they did a year ago. They have the largest actively managed ETF on the market. Their inflows lately have been massive.

2/3
So depending on what is in the report, that could potentially help push $TSLA higher. Can’t wait to read the report! 📈

BREAKING: In a 13G filing on Tesla, passive fund manager Vanguard group disclosed a 6.1% or 57,814,310 share stake in $TSLA. This is up 33.58% from the 43,281,548 shares held at the end Q3 2020. The fund is now the 2nd largest holder behind CEO Elon Musk.

1/2 Image
The firm held the shares as of Dec 31, 2020. The addition from Vangaurd is in part likely related to Tesla's addition to the S&P 500 on December 21, 2020.
The Tesla shares Vanguard holds are as of Feb 10th, 2020 (at $814/share) worth just over $47B.

EXCLUSIVE: For a few weeks I've been in contact with a source from a U.S Tesla supplier. They supply certain parts for the S,X,3 and Y, but I'm here to reveal some info on Tesla Semi. As always, take these kinds of things with a grain of salt. Things/timelines can change.

1/6
This supplier starting working on Semi related stuff in Q4 2020 (based on the info I have). Per this supplier, the body will be built in Fremont CA, final assembly will be at Giga Nevada in 2021 & eventually Giga Texas in 2022.

2/6
Whether final assembly will take place both in Nevada and Texas or eventually just switch to Giga Texas when the factory is done is unclear.

For those that borrow on Margin, make sure to try and negotiate a lower rate. My Mom was able to go from 5.5% to 1.6%. As a family member I might be able to get the same rate. No matter your account size,if you are thinking of switching brokers or not, shop around for best rates.
As always, be careful with margin and use it smartly. Don't over leverage. Be aware of changing margin maintenance requirements as they can sometimes change rapidly (especially with $TSLA) and with no notice.
