Anyone else wondering about the Capitol being breached while Trump is still on stage, and he isn’t yanked off and taken to a secure location immediately?
What about Pence being taken to a secure location, but in the accounts of what was happening with Trump at that same time, no mention of him also being in a secure location? And he’s making phone calls to Tuberville, not to security personnel?
1:00 pm: protestors storm the outer barricade of the Capitol.
It seems the timelines vary by outlet. This one - if correct - from the NYT makes it even worse. They say pipe bombs are reported while he's still on stage. The WaPo timeline places it later, around 1:30 pm. nytimes.com/interactive/20…

I wonder what happens if you take stolen psychological profiles, pair them with hacked financial data, and then pump the resulting segment full of micro targeted violent propaganda for years.
Also, there’s a word for someone who’s heavily in debt, sitting in a McMansion, riding around on a private jet, then blaming everyone else for their debt problems: entitlement.
My favorite part is how dumb it is. Usually such reimbursements require a detailed log—which if obviously fabricated also provide a tidy, written record of intent of fraud. news.yahoo.com/amphtml/rep-la…
I’m guessing she was too lazy and unimaginative to conjure enough details for mileage of 1.5 times the circumference of the Earth, and has something like 1 entry of thousands of miles.
Someone tweeted at me that I don't understand how mileage works. I understand how mileage works.
Let’s start with the sub head:
“The coronavirus gospel of ‘within six feet for more than 15 minutes’ wasn’t enough—and the NFL had the data to prove it.”
The Cincinnati Public School board just voted that 3 feet of social distancing (aka NO DISTANCING) is enough at one of our high schools. Where did they get they data to back this up? No idea. Definitely not from the NFL.

The most disturbing thing from the last 4+ years has been a blatant push towards cruelty and the attempt to wipe empathy and decency from our discourse. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/01/26…
Talk of executing people you don’t like; sneering at and harassing parents whose children were murdered at school; harassing the surviving children; telling strangers you don’t care if their loved ones are fighting for their lives over COVID because “everyone dies.”
These things cannot be allowed normalcy. These things are not okay.
Since I know people love to read only the headlines, there are a few key caveats listed in this article, chief among them that they recommend closing restaurants and bars in exchange for keeping schools open. (more key points below) nytimes.com/2021/01/26/wor…
another key point: mask compliance. In our school district, kids are allowed "mask breaks," take their masks off to eat, and pre-schoolers are taking masks off to eat breakfast, lunch + snack, and to take naps. IMO, we need to cut down the removal of masks as much as possible.
key point #3: widespread testing. The Biden admin, and the experts cited in this article, call for widespread testing as part of the safe re-opening plan. This means testing before people have symptoms, and/or if they don't have them (in other words, rapid antigen tests).
