I hope Biden keeps his inauguration speech light on over used history. I’m tired of hearing the word Lincoln, it has lost it’s power. And if he wants to win over Trump voters he unfortunately needs to speak in a way that appeals to them. Just talk to us with heart not lessons...
And I love @jmeacham but the “Better Angels” thing will not play well to MAGA. It needs to appeal to their patriotism without being condescending. They don’t give a shit about the soul of America, and we are already all in. 🇺🇸
I believe Joe will win over many Trump voters! Not all of them, and not overnight, but he will. This speech will set the tone.
