LAGOS CP CONDEMNS MOLESTATION OF ARRESTED PROTESTERS IN VIRAL VIDEO, INSTITUTES IMMEDIATE INVESTIGATION.
The attention of the Lagos State Police Command has been drawn
to a viral video where some arrested "Endsars protesters" were being molested in a bus by some individuals after their arrest.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, who was piqued by this unprofessional and inhuman act, has ordered the Deputy Commissioner
of Police, State CID, Panti, DCP Adegoke Fayoade, to analyse the video and bring to book whoever that must have been responsible for the act.
CP Hakeem Odumosu reiterates that, in as much the command is resolute in enforcing all laws in the state, it will not deviate from
the Standard Operating Prosecure of the Nigeria Police Force and provisions of the law in discharging its duties; nothing that the command will fish out those responsible for the molestation and ensure they are punished for thier unprofessional conduct.
He further urges Lagosians to be law-abiding and maintain peace at all times as the police and other security agencies will not allow any violence and break down of law and order in any part of the state.

AGAIN, LAGOS POLICE ARREST 8 SUSPECTED TRAFFIC ROBBERS IN KETU, RECOVER HARD DRUGS, WEAPONS.
Pursuant to its commitment to further reduce crime and criminality in the State, the Lagos Police Command,
between Thursday night and early hours of Friday 12th February 2021, arrested eight (8) suspected traffic robbers in Ketu Area of Lagos State.
Five of the suspects were arrested on Thursday 11th February, 2021, at about 1030pm, by a team of RRS operatives led by the Commander,
Rapid Response Squad (RRS), CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi around Motorways end of Ketu while the other three (3) suspects were caught in the act by another RRS patrol team around 6am on Friday, 12th February, 2021.

The Police operatives attached to Bariga Division of the Lagos State Police Command on Saturday, 13th February, 2021, arrested four (4) members
of Oodua People's Congress (OPC) for beating and stabbing one Tochukwu Chidi, m, 35, of No 76 Arobadede Street,Bariga, to death after an argument with them at Temple Street, Bariga, Lagos.
The suspects attacked the deceased and inflicted injuries on him. He was rushed to the
General Hospital, Bariga for treatment before he was confirmed dead.
The suspects are Sunday Onilede, m, 35, Azan Razak, m, 35, Abdullahi Ibrahim, m, 29, and Fatai Taiwo, m, 40,.

In its bid to consistently enforce COVID-19 protocols in the state, the Lagos State Police Command on Saturday 13th February at about 1am, arrested seventy six (76) suspects at a birthday party violating COVID-19 protocols.
The Divisional Police Officer, Maroko Division of the
command, led his team on enforcement of COVID-19 protocols including 12 midnight to 4am curfew when he got wind of the gathering at Lavender court, Jakande close Oniru Victoria Island Lagos.

LAGOS POLICE ARREST LANDLADY'S DAUGHTER FOR BEATING MALE TENANT TO DEATH
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested one Ms Tina Essi, f, for the alleged murder of 49 year old Christian Akparie of
No 26 Orijamogun Street, Oreyo, Ikorodu, Lagos.
Police preliminary investigation revealed that on 31st January 2021, an argument, over the payment of Nepa Bill, ensued between the Landladys daughter, Ms Tina Essi and the deceased, both of the same address, which led to a fight.
After the fight, the deceased had continually suffered severe pains but unfortunately, on Saturday 6th February 2021 at about 7am while the deceased was being rushed to the General Hospital, Ikorodu, he gave up the ghost.

Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Lagos State, Mr Moyo Onigbanjo(SAN) and the Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Kazeem Alogba, in their respective offices at Ikeja, Lagos State.
