If planning to introduce your young child into vidyarambham(starting formal education) tomorrow on the occasion of #Basantpanchami recommendations by @mmpandit ji :

1.Ganapati puja with avahana, Panchupchara puja to murti or to turmeric Ganesha followed by abhisheka of Ganapati mantra x 108.

2. Avahana of Saraswati with common Dhyana mantra and Panch upchara puja to murti/photo + 108 mantra chant.
The mantra chant can be done by parents with the child hearing it in both cases.

Then one may give them a bija mantra of Saraswati/Ganesh in the right ear. Ensure nobody but you and child are in the room at that specific time.
