Means that you went against your integrity, for your own self-preservation to achieve success.
We are all guilty of being in a compromised situation to choose this, one time or another in our lives.
You can just hope that it doesn’t disrespect yourself & others to levels of damning affects.
Sadly, we’ve seen this is US politics and with my old club, CFC.
I did this, when I should have went against safety and @iamlumumba advice to leave it, to not create a stir.
I live with that and own it - but it’s first of many levels deep of the betrayal we’ve been seeing.
I hope that my old colleagues break that wall around their heart and do the right thing regarding their disgraceful behaviors of abandonment and self-preservation.
There’s more to life than a sport and a club, brothers.

Although I have spoken & stood by Heritier Lumumba, regarding how he was treated during and
after Collingwood, I have bitten my tongue for far too long and I can no longer stay silent in what
has really bothered me.
Time for a thread 👇
In ‘13, I made a social media statement on Ed’s comments about Adam Goodes.
I then got a text from Ed saying “Side by Side?” And asking me to take it down.
I told him that I’d take it down - choosing to support him cuz we all make mistakes, but he knew I
was disappointed.
Truly standing “Side by Side" with someone, is acknowledging & holding one accountable to BE
better.
I’ve never outed anyone & always chose to have the focus be on the bigger picture.
My evidence is in the media I did in June w/ @7NewsMelbourne, @SENBreakfast & @ahmedyussuf10
