$TRCH META Merger MEGA DD Thread:

I’m sure by now many have heard about $TRCH (Torchlight) and their merger with Metamaterial Technologies - “a smart materials and photonics company” - if not, here is a thread revealing how big this merger really is.

$TRCH (1): META is actively involved in two emerging trends: EV/Lidar and 5G. META is actively working on developing transparent 5G antennas that may be integrated into various technologies and enhance 5G signal.

$TRCH (2): As EV’s continue to increase in demand, META is also working on transparent de-icing and de-fogging solutions that don’t require the use of energy, as well as LiDAR and V2V sensing and solar integration.



$TRCH (3): META is currently partnered with Samsung where they are working on developing transparent fingerprint sensors for future technologies. A Samsung partnership is huge.

$TRCH (4): Did you think that Samsung partnership was cool? Well... META also has contracts with Lockheed Martin, AIRBUS, Panasonic, SONY, Mazda, Boeing... and the list goes on.

$TRCH (5): META is looking into innovative medical applications as they are looking into developing a non-invasive Glucometer within 2-7 years. Aside from this they are also looking to have potential applications in MRI medical imaging, cancer screening, and molecular biosensors.

$TRCH (6): COVID-19 Biosensing platform technology!! META’s -in development- biosensor technology may have applications in detection on the molecular level!! With applications in the medical field and others... the value of this is pretty apparent.

$TRCH (7): It looks like META will be NASDAQ’s first ever Metamaterials company - defined on META’s website as “complex films and other materials... that can manipulate and utilize light and other forms of energy in new and often amazing ways.”

$TRCH (8): Any sale of oil assets that Torchlight holds - such as their Orogrande Basin, a 134,000 net acre oil field - will reward shareholders with something such as a special dividend due to “Legacy Value++.”

$TRCH (9): In an “example application” META addresses Solar Energy as another possible application of their research - with the possibility of flexible solar panels - and increased efficiency.

$TRCH (10): The growth has just begun... with the company objective to have 150+ patents by 2022 and forging relationships with growing companies, this is where the journey begins, let’s see where it takes us.

$TRCH (11): Remember seeing that laser danger news for airplanes a couple years ago? Guess who solved that problem... That’s right! META!

$TRCH (12): In 2018 metaAIR glasses became available to both military and aviation markets. The glasses maintain transparency while deflecting harmful laser glare.
