UPDATE: @TulareSheriff says the suspect reportedly got into an argument with someone at Sequoia Natl Park, slashed their tires, brandished a pistol & drove off. Then deputies respond to report of shots fired near Chevron in Three Rivers, no one hit. (1/5)
Then @CAL_FIRE spots suspect car near Horse Creek Bridge, pulls him over, he stops, they all get out, suspect shoots at fire personnel, they fire back, then he drives away and chase begins down Highway-198 nearing #Exeter area. (2/5)
While law enforcement is trying to put down spike strips at the intersection, suspect shoots at them from moving car, turns right heading north on Rd 196, drives into orange orchard and gets out of car. (3/5)
A female CHP officer approaches the car, doesn’t see suspect, he attacks her and they fight, suspect shoots her in the shoulder. @TulareSheriff deputies enter orange grove & shoot at suspect, he’s shot & taken to hospital, condition unknown. (4/5)
