At first, it’s just his hand. Lingering a little longer than normal on her shoulder, thumb rubbing circles as he leans over her, making sure the English in her lyrics is up to scratch.
She tries to not laugh as his soft hair falls over her shoulder, blond blurring her vision.

Then, it’s his laugh, setting deep into her bones, never leaving her mind. His face always bursts into a grand smile, and if his hair is styled, it flies around wildly when his head is thrown back.
Sometimes he softly giggles, smiling at her sweetly, eyes scrunched up happily.

Finally, it’s what he says. He’ll point to students in the hallways, always calling them his ‘listeners’ as he asks how they’re doing. But whenever he sees her, she’s called ‘radio star’. He always makes time in his days for her. Always sees when she’s down, picking her back up.
When Jirou finally kisses Hizashi, his lips feel like they belong on hers. He grabs her the way she wants, hands hungrily exploring her, dotting her neck in wine red marks.
Her hands tug on his soft blonde locks, and he whispers “Kyoka.” The way she dreamed he would.
