Spam transactions clog up the network, making meaningful transactions slower. This is why the next ZIP is important for #Zilliqans to vote and discuss on.

2) Ok the proposal's kinda long so here's a tl;dr

The problem? Spam. The proposed solution? Increase transaction costs from 0.002ZIL to 0.1ZIL.

Before you grab your pitchforks out, listen up, there's a reason why this makes sense!

(3) The increase in transaction costs makes it hard to spam the network. A million txns presently costs 2000 ZIL, the change would bring it to 100k ZILs. This makes it harder for our network to be targeted by spam attacks.

(4) This change DOES NOT affect smart contract txns. Smart contract execution fees (Staking, Swapping, etc.) will still remain at 0.002 ZIL.

Besides 0.1 ZIL is still cheap gas!

and of course...these fees result in TOKEN BURN🔥🔥, which deflates ZIL's supply
