I WROTE LIVING AMONGST THE BEASTS TO SHOW PEOPLE HOW DEVIANTS, RAPISTS, SERIAL KILLERS AND CHILD KILLERS ARE TREATED IN PRISON

PEOPLE WILL BE AMAZED TO FIND OUT THAT THE REHABILITATION PROGRAMS/THERAPY
ARE TURNING THEM INTO MORE PROFICIENT PREDICTORS.

I thought transparency regarding rehabilitation was supposed to open up the door and let the general public see grendons therapeutic prison in all its glory but all I've seen is smoking mirrors statistics that have been manipulated to support a hypothesis that is written in stone

The reoffending rates at grendon are basically the same as a mainstream prison
but when you consider the deviant nature of its inmates then you have to wonder why we are still spending millions of pounds trying to achieve the impossible.

YOU CAN'T CHANGE A DEVIANTS NATURE

OR CAN YOU ?

MOST PSYCHOLOGIST BELIEVE THEY CAN

BUT IF THERAPY WAS THE MEDICINE

THEN WHY ARE SO MANY SEX OFFENDERS REOFFENDING?

When will the criminal justice system wake up to the fact that rehabilitation in any form doesn't work within a prison environment
Especially when you consider the nature of the beasts

It's time to spend the money on improving the living conditions

Instead of providing a service that only benefits the service providers

Give a man a home A job a trade and self worth

Then you then have a productive exoffender

Give him a certificate that he has completed a reoffending program then he can also wipe his arse on the way out

Because that's all the rehabilitation certificates are fit for .

But I know what I'm talking about because I lived amongst the beasts

Grendon wanted me to be one of its poster boys wanted to roll me out giving lucrative talks but I couldn't in all sincerity support a lie .
