๐Ÿ‘‘Integrity๐Ÿ‘‘

*๐Ÿ‘‡A Thread๐Ÿ‘‡*
๐Ÿ‘‘

Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.

For me, it is one of the most desirable attributes a person can have.

We all like to think we have Integrity, but integrity is often misunderstood...
๐Ÿ‘‘

People often teach people integrity by drumming their own morals and principles into people.

That is not integrity.

Integrity is living by your OWN morals and principles and not allowing others to shape or compromise them.
๐Ÿ‘‘

People with integrity will do what they think is right no matter what,.

They will make unpopular decisions for the greater good.

They wont be influenced by herd mentality or peer pressure.

These people do not look to impress others and follow their own path.
๐Ÿ‘‘
With integrity comes consistency of character, allowing others to build trust in you.

They hold onto their humility as they grow, something the world needs more of.

That opens many doors for them in life, because they have the respect, admiration, and trust from others.
๐Ÿ‘‘

People with integrity are not very judgemental, they appreciate people's differences and know when to give the benefit of the doubt.

They are not willing to pass judgement on anyone unless they are 100% sure they are right.

They doesn't mean they are not cautious.
๐Ÿ‘‘

People with Integrity are respectful.

Often respect needs to be earned in life, but with integrity people understand everyone is human and do not deserve to be disrespected.

That doesn't mean people can not lose their respect.
โŒ

People with integrity do not accept injustice.

A prosecutor with no integrity will still prosecute someone who may well be innocent if they think they can win and therefore advance their career and satisfy the need for the case to be solved.
๐Ÿ‘‘

Many employers look out for Integrity, because it indicates the employee will perform to the best of their ability and act on their principles no matter what.

Be careful, just because an employer is looking for integrity that doesn't mean they have it themselves.
๐Ÿ‘‘

An employer with integrity themselves are also desirable because with integrity comes lack of corruption.

They do not attract a toxic workplace.
๐Ÿ‘‘

People with Integrity can admit when they are wrong.

They are not too stubborn and will not allow their pride blind them from what is right and what is real.

They will acknowledge and learn from their mistake and swiftly move on to an alternative solution.

๐ŸšฉRed Flags๐Ÿšฉ

*๐Ÿ‘‡A Thread๐Ÿ‘‡*
๐ŸšฉBad Manners

If the interviewer is late and doesn't apologise, that's not normal, they don't respect your time.

Sarcastic replies are also the kind of thing to look out for.

Things will get worse if you take the job, they're likely on their best behaviour at this point.
๐ŸšฉThey Interrupt

People who interrupt a lot will go off on a tangent, making what you were about to say irreverent, it's a form of gaslighting.

People also interrupt when they don't want you to know they arn't competent enough to engage.

Don't work under these people, avoid!
