Also notable that even if the "stop the steal" claim is generously boiled down to the PA late ballots case that the Supreme Court finally rejected yesterday, even conservative Justice Thomas noted that it wouldn't have had any impact on the outcome of the election
Also the complaint that some courts didn't reach the merits of lawsuits filed by Trump and allies ignores the fact that many lawsuits were filed well after the election was over even though the claims could have been litigated months before, which is why some were dismissed

Biden administration has asked Supreme Court to dump Medicaid work requirements case as the government seeks to change course on Trump-era policy
The court earlier this month previously dumped oral arguments in two other Trump-era cases over border wall funding and his "remain in Mexico" asylum policy

Justice Thomas notes in dissent from decision to hear PA late ballot case -- which a lot of the "stop the steal" rhetoric was premised on -- that decision to extend the deadline after Election Day "was not outcome determinative for any federal election"
Back in October, the court split 4-4 in denying a stay in PA case. But only four votes are needed for court to take up an appeal. It would appear based on the dissents today that Kavanaugh was the one who voted to grant the stay but then voted not to hear the appeal
Supreme Court rejects Trump bid to shield taxes from grand jury in NY
Supreme Court declines to hear Stormy Daniels bid to revive defamation case against Trump
Supreme Court also took up appeals concerning Trump's "public charge" rule for immigrants and a rule that bars abortion referrals by clinics that receive federal funding
Biden administration has told the Supreme Court it believes Obamacare law should be upheld in full, taking opposition approach to the Trump administration
*opposite approach, apologies for typo
The Biden administration says no need for more briefing so the letter is basically just an FYI
Of note to Supreme Court:
-Travel ban to be revoked
-Plan to exclude noncitizens from census to be revoked
-Path to citizenship for dreamers proposed as part of immigration bill
-Border wall construction halted
-Undoing Remain in Mexico asylum plan could take time
Border wall & remain in Mexico cases are scheduled for argument next month but as both were based on executive actions the administration could presumably make both of them go away quite easily
There are also appeals pending at the Supreme Court on the Trump "public charge" rule for immigrants that the Biden administration could presumably withdraw assuming the court doesn't quickly act on them (which it could have done already and hasn't)
