The Chairman, who was accompanied by the Commission’s Director-General, Mr. Oluwatoyin Gafaar, added that when the stadium is upgraded and put into use, residents of Ikorodu and environs will have the opportunity to participate in sponsored sporting activities at the stadium.
Mr. Gafaar said the focus is on school sports, adding that the long term plan of the Government is to convert Igbogbo Mini Stadium to a standard stadium having many other sporting facilities such as Beach Soccer field, Five-A-Side Soccer field and other multipurpose facilities.
The team also visited the Ikorodu Youth Centre at Ita-Elewa area, facilitated by Mr. Babajimi Benson - representing Ikorodu at the Federal House of Representatives - where facilities are available for the use of the residents of the community. @jidesanwoolu #ForAGreaterLagos
