@law_rep@AlboMP The dementia patients had their photos near their beds so Mum, paralysed on right side & no speech, wanted her army photo with her’s. The bullies then called her Sergeant Major when she rang for help to the bathroom. And made her wait until she wet herself! She stopped drinking.
@law_rep@AlboMP The Sergeant Major name-calling was a big joke amongst the staff. They’d come to attention when they went into her room, or pass her in the hallway, & all giggle. The casual recreation officer told me. I still see two of the main culprits occasionally; there is no karma.
@law_rep@AlboMP Even after Mum was hospitalised with conditions from dehydration the bullies didn’t stop. After I discovered and complained they did it sneakily. Mum developed a heart condition, so hid her daily tablet, as it contained a diuretic. She died of heart failure. #AgedCare
@law_rep@AlboMP Some people should definitely not be working in the care industry and this must be policed! It was at the time Aust jobs were going overseas. Some of the staff had lost jobs at call centres, a few did a little ‘course’ (if any) then worked with frail loved ones in #agedcare
@law_rep@AlboMP Every 2nd Sunday, in good weather, when I took Mum out for lunch she’d never have a cup of tea. I thought it was because she knew I couldn’t lift her onto the toilet alone or without the hoist. I feel guilty not knowing she never had another much loved cuppa after the bullying.

@vanOnselenP The absolute worst case of a Govt stopping free press is the 2013 case of abc tech reporter Nick Ross over the NBN. He lost his job, Abbot & Turnbull got their sad excuse of a nbn. In 2018 NBN CEO Quigley proved Ross 💯 % right
@vanOnselenP 2017 AFR report. If only Nick Ross wasn't 'silenced' by abc & Turnbull/Abbott we'd have known this earlier. afr.com/politics/feder…
@vanOnselenP Nick Ross, working for Australian public, lost his job because the LNP made this necessary infrastructure political!
