Let me begin by saying this is a good thing. The loss of citizenship is a deterrent to those considering going abroad to rape & kill. Shamima is a terrorist & a danger to the UK.
So what next?

The UK must assist the brave people of Eastern Syria that defeated ISIS & now hold tens of thousands of dangerous prisoners. Unless action is taken now, Shamima Begum could escape from prison & justice. It is in the UKs interest to properly fund & support the SDF moving forward.

The @coalition needs to build a dozen or so supermax prisons in E.Syria.
Properly incarcerating ISIS terrorists is a priority. Difficult decisions need to be made. It will cost tens of millions of pounds but unless we're willing to bring terrorists back, this is our only option.

We must also make sure we support and fund a judicial system in E. Syria. Local police have the witnesses and the evidence needed to convict the terrorists. While Western courts would struggle, local courts would have a much better conviction rate.

ISIS terrorists committed their crimes in Syria. A local process - where victims can give evidence & see their tormentors convicted - would be part of the healing process for communities across Syria.
The SDF (with support) defeated ISIS, the SDF (with support) should jail them.

Keeping Shamima (and others) out of the UK is not the end of this. We cannot offload our problems on to our friends in Syria. They're struggling & they need our help. We MUST provide diplomatic & financial support NOW. If we don't, violence is inevitable.
