recombinant DNA was used as a carrier to deliver a less specific version of RNA (or mRNA) to the cells? This may in turn have written itself in to cells/ T cells DNA, which was not particularly successful, in turn meaning the DNA was incomplete and the cells died.
Is it possible that this was an experiment? To see if recoding of DNA would work, and it didn't, so many patients died as their T cells were essential to their immune system? No T cells meant no protection from infection, ill-timed death of old cells and growth of cancers.

Once full, these LIPID ENVELOPES message other cells to clean using.... surface antigens/spike proteins. So if you code a cell to not allow a certain spike protein shape to attach related to Covid, you effectively stop the cell from messaging to surrounding cells to clean.
The end result would be that the cells become dirty, do not perform apoptosis correctly, multiply the new DNA code and detritus in the cells, leading to .... cancer, infection and ultimately early death. HIV from inside the cell? Chromosomes next if I can get my head around it.
