On this play we can see how the safety froze on the play-action and didn't put himself in a good position, whereas the Ghost Defender read the play as it developed and was able to meet Julio at the ball
Lots to explore in terms of ensuring "optimal" aligns with play call and intended scheme but imagine putting this in front of coaches and players and seeing what they agree/disagree with? That would be interesting...
One of the biggest challenges with this project was getting ghost defenders to move in a realistic manner
Here is the same play but better accounting for physics which translates to more fluid movement
