The Canadian Parliamentary ETHI hearings (aka the PH discussion) are ongoing, and they're not interested in listening to SWers about the outcome of these hearings and how resulting legislation will affect us.

I have helped draft a letter with @CDNSWAlliance detailing what we can do - YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE CANADIAN TO HELP - we need more bodies, and more experienced voices!!

This is mainly intended for SWers and activists who are comfortable articulating why we need to be included

We need to continue to present ourselves as experts in our field, and offer to be a witness to future hearings, or submit a brief. We also need to keep track of *everyone who is not being replied to* so we can call attention to that fact as well. ALL details are in this letter 👇

Some online SWers (myself included) fight for the rights of ALL SWers, *especially* FSSW (bc, duh, criminalization), and I've seen a lot of FSSW lately be critical of "online/OF girls taking up their space"

... maybe cuz we believe in... I dunno, rights for ALL SWers perhaps?

If you don't want us fighting alongside you for basic human rights, your priorities are twisted. A lot of us have spent YEARS building our platforms and have great reach. REGARDLESS of the issue, SWers need as much visibility as a ✨community✨ as we can get.

Don't get it twisted, online girls are also out here trying to ✨create change✨... please don't be blind to that. I get drained from spreading awareness but I DO IT cuz I BELIEVE IN IT. Erasing the voices of online workers is the epitome of counter-productivity.

This is (part) of why I hate IG and stopped using them. The week I start posting regularly, fake accounts run wild.

Just reported someone who's ripping my pics as I post them.... now, I stressfully wait. Will my account get deleted? Will they get deleted? Who knows 🙃

I've been deleted on every platform but due to a magical series of events, somehow all my current media is lined up with "melodykush", except my dot com (that's a whole other story)..

if I lose my IG acct I think that's it, boys n girls. New accts are too risky, trying to connect family n stuff. I have a secondary acct I can use to get fakes taken down, but what an exhausting and frustrating ordeal.

I've been healing for 19 days and I'm starting to have content creation withdrawals 😆

I still have almost an entire month's worth of content from the pre-surgery shoot marathon, but of all things I went off cold turkey last month, creation is the hardest one 😅😅

I also have new lingerie piling up and boots on the way and I'm dying to shoot itttttt 😅
