Months after we began our efforts, the truth about Representative Madison Cawthorn (#nc11) is finally coming out. 🧵 
On Friday, Buzzfeed News published the first piece about Cawthorn's predatory behavior at Patrick Henry College.

Cawthorn took fellow student Caitlin Coulter out for a "fun drive", pressuring her with "invasive and suggestive" questions. When she refused his advances, he snapped, driving recklessly back to campus.
Cawthorn pressured fellow student Leah Petree for weeks, grabbing her notebook, lurking outside her dorm, and not taking no for an answer, culminating in this incident in the college dining hall:
Cawthorn had developed a clear pattern of misogynistic behavior.
His comments were crude, objectifying, and demeaning.
Worse still, his comments displayed that he engaged in sexually predatory with abandon.
Cawthorn even hired a fellow PHC predator to work as his Director of Communications. When you see a tweet from @RepCawthorn or @CawthornforNC, it's likely coming from one of these two men.

We urge #nc11 to take these claims seriously. Cawthorn is an embarrassment and a danger to our country and must #ResignCawthorn.
