Steven's involvement in neo-Nazism goes back several years, and is, for the mostpart online. Thanks to @UR_Ninja and @DDoSecret we were able to access some of his old discord messages in neo-Nazi chats. Here, he introduces himself as a National Socialist at only 16 years old.

He also shares pictures from a 2018 family trip to Germany, in addition to a visit to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, where he uses unfounded observations there to promote Holocaust denial. Steven even admits these messages are his in another, more recent chat

Another leaked chat Steven was extremely active in was made available to us. The Discord chat, titled "Nazi Shitpost Nexion" even includes a smaller channel/subchat called "The Vlood Zone". This chat is particularly disturbing (CW applies below)

This chat quickly devolved into participants sharing graphic sexual fantasies and remarks about young women on the internet, often centered around sexual harassment and r*pe. We will not be sharing these screenshots due to their graphic nature.

Steven was no exception. In this chat he explicitly endorsed pedophilia, stating that 30 year old men should marry 16 year olds. In addition, while he was under 18 at the time, he endorsed and supported other adult men making sexually graphic comments about minors.

Steven Van Zelst also expressed extreme sexual violence, stating on at least 2 separate occasions that he solicited nude photos of young women and manipulated them into self harming for his pleasure.

Aside from extreme sexual violence, Steven also expressed racist and terroristic views. 1 day after a white supremacist gunman killed 23 people in an El Paso Walmart, Steven requested a copy of his manifesto. He also stated black Americans were better off under slavery.

On Telegram, where Steven went by "Vlood" and "Felix" he helped start a neo-Nazi propaganda channel dedicated to obsessively posting about an underage cosplayer. The channel also spread genocidal neo-Nazi content and even Islamic extremist propaganda

While the obsessive posting about young women online is billed as an "ironic joke" it is clearly intended with the purpose of intimidation, harm, and harassment.

One of his close friends in the creation of this neo-Nazi channel is a British neo-Nazi going by "Blitz". Blitz is actually Andrew Dymock, a UK man facing 12 counts of terrorism for his role in running the neo-Nazi terror group Sonnenkrieg Division

Given the extreme propensity toward sexual violence, his association with Dymock, and various other circumstantial evidence, it is possible that Steven believes in the neo-Nazi Satanist ideology of The Order of the 9 Angles.

Recently, Steven has joined the New England based neo-Nazi group, Nationalist Social Club, or NSC-131, started by Massachusetts neo-Nazi Chris Hood. We know this because he brags about it in various chats, claiming to be in NSC propaganda.

Steven also was supposedly busted by police in Somerville, Massachusetts for putting up racist graffiti, possibly with other NSC members. We have not confirmed this but have a document Steven shared detailing the incident.

We have established that Steven Van Zelst is a deeply violent and unstable neo-Nazi, but what is less clear is his relatively normal life as an 18 year old college student.

From the Philadelphia, PA suburb of Newtown Square, Steven attended a private Catholic high school and after graduating in 2020, went to Boston University. We have confirmed his attendance in their public directory. @BU_Tweets @BU_CAS

Overall, Steven Van Zelst is an extreme threat to the Boston and Boston University community. He has committed borderline hate crimes in the city of Boston after only several months of attendance and has shown himself to be extremely violent.

Lastly, while Steven and his ideologies are uniquely extreme and horrific, he is a symptom of the larger issue of very young people being radicalized online at an early age. Without proper ways to combat this radicalization, more young men will be sucked into violent Nazism.
