BREATH

Happy morning with happy feeling
I noticed a child monk—he can’t have been more than ten years old —teaching a group of five-year-olds. He had a great aura about him, the poise and confidence of an adult.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
We just taught their first class ever,” he said, then asked me, “What did you learn in your first day of school?”
“I started to learn the alphabet and numbers. What did they learn?”
“The first thing we teach them is how to breathe.”
“Why?” I asked.
“Because the only thing that stays with you from the moment you’re born until the moment you die is your breath. All your friends, your family, the country you live in, all of that can change. The one thing that stays with you is your breath.”
This ten-year-old monk added, “When you get stressed—what changes? Your breath. When you get angry—what changes? Your breath. We experience every emotion with the change of the breath. When you learn to navigate and manage your breath, you can navigate any situation in life."

First statue of M Karunanidhi removed for want of sanction - DTNext.in dtnext.in/News/TamilNadu… via @dt_next
D K insisted installed a statue at the junction of General Patters Road and Mount Road. Soon thereafter, DMK lost power. During his arch-rival MGR’s funeral procession, Karunanidhi’s statue was damaged
though he was a rationalist by tradition Karunanidhi realised the coincidence between putting him his statues and his power in the state. Whenever a statue of his was installed, he stood to lose power as the ruling party and thus he forbade putting him his statues ever again.

Read what Dr.BM Hegde ,former VC Manipal has this to say
Image

KARMA 👁

It was 1966 & Indira Gandhi was finding it difficult to ensure a victory for her in the next election.
She visited Swami Karpatri ji a very famous saint & Acharya Vinoba Bhave for blessings.

Both of them gave her their blessings but placed a condition
if she becomes
the Prime Minister she would immediately bring an end to cow slaughter taking place in the country.
In those days 15,000 cows were killed each day
Indira promised she would do so if she wins,
and she won
After Indira Gandhi won, Acharya Vinoba Bhave visited her reminded her
of the promise she had made before the elections.

Indira Gandhi said she needed some time to adjust to her responsibilities after which she would fulfill the promise.

But, Indira never did.

Swami Karpatri ji’s patience ran out & he decided

Ten Things a Hindu can do While using English Language: - written by Francois Gautier
# 01.
Please stop using the term "God fearing" - Hindus never ever fear God. For us, God is everywhere and we are also part of God. God is not a separate entity to fear.
It is integral.
# 02.
do not use the meaningless RIP when someone dies. Use "Om Shanti", "Sadhgati" or "wish this atma attains Moksha/Sadhgati /Uthama Lokas"
Hinduism neither has the concept of "soul" nor its "resting". The terms "Atma" and "Jeeva" are, in a way, antonyms for the word soul
# 03.
Please don't use the word "Mythology" for our historic epics (Ithihaas) Ramayana and Mahabharata. Rama and Krishna are historical heroes, not just mythical characters.
