Once there was a Washerman (Dhobi). His job was collecting clothes from the entire village, loading them on his Donkey. Taking it to the river. Washing the clothes, drying them in the Sun and Bring back the fresh clothes to each house.
Like any other day, Washerman leaves early morning, along with his Donkey. He collects clothes from each house. Loads it on his Donkey and reaches the nearby river. To his Dismay, today he has forgotten the ROPE with which he tied the Donkey to a Tree, while he gets on his Job.
Terrible beginning to the day (He thinks in his mind). "Without this ROPE, I cannot tie the Donkey & Donkey may wander away. I cannot keep an eye on donkey while washing and drying clothes. And If my Donkey wanders away, How will I deliver the clothes - an entire day wasted"
While he was worried, A Man was passing by. He saw the Washerman. He came up to him & asked "What happened, you look worried"?
Washerman narrated his ordeal.
The Man smiles and says "No problems, just pretend you are tying the ROPE and make sure the donkey watches you"
Washerman thinks, no harm in trying out the idea. With absolutely nothing in his hand, he pretends to get a rope. He ties it around the donkey, he stretches the rope to a nearby tree and ties the imaginary rope to the Tree.
Donkey watches him, doing all this.
The Idea works like Magic. For the entire Day, the Donkey just doesn't move. He keeps standing there, eating his food. The Washerman, while working at the River, keeps one eye on the Donkey. He cant believe, the Donkey stands still.
Now, it's evening. Washerman has finished Washing and Drying his Load of Clothes. He folds them appropriately and loads it on the Donkey.
He says "Hurrrrr". A Keyword for the Donkey to start moving. The Donkey doesn't move.
Washerman keeps repeating that word.
Donkey is rock steady, he refuses to budge from the place.
Washerman is worried again, however, he knows where the MAN who advised him (to tie an imaginary rope) stays.
Washerman Rushes to his home. "Sir, please help me. My Donkey just doesn't move."
The Man smiles and says, "Simple, just pretend to UNTIE the imaginary rope, complete the action in full and make sure the Donkey watches you"
Washerman does it and when he is Done. He says "Hurrr", the Donkey moves, just like he did every day.

The Donkey here is us and ROPE is our FAITH. If you BELIEVE in the supreme lord. He is There. If you don't believe, he isn't.
Though, the technical reason is, The Mans action of TYING the ROPE Superimposed the Fact in the Donkeys mind that he was TIED. Whereas, we all know, he wasn't tied.
Let us all pledge to TIE ourselves to the FAITH of the Supreme Lord.
वो है, और वो सुन रहा है
जय श्री राम

Once, there was a group of 10 friends. They were all travelling. Their Journey meant, they had to cross a river. One of them made boat arrangements & they crossed the river. After a slightly turbulent boat ride, one of them suggested, let's count if everybody is thr.
He started counting. One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine.
Oh My God, we lost one of our mates. There are only Nine of us here.
Surprised, another one does the counting. Even he concluded. There are only nine of us here.
Like this, each one does the same act. Now the group is sad, they have lost a mate in the boat ride.
To the reader, we know - each of the men committed the same mistake. They didn't count Themselves.
Once in Kashi, there was a theatrical performance arranged. The Queen & the entire kingdom participated.
A Character in the Play was to be a Princess (little girl). They had a Casting issue, Queen had a Son (not a daughter).
Queen suggested let's dress him up as a princess. The people around did a fantastic job in dressing up the Prince as a Princess. He looked so pretty that the royal Painter painted a Portrait.
That Portrait was framed, with the proper date and caption "Princess of Kashi".
The Play turned out to be very good.
Years passed. Prince grew in age. He was doing all the macho-Prince like activities (Horse riding, archery, learning combat, learning all the Royal skills of Politics & economics)
Once, Narad Muni - a great devotee of Lord Shri Krishna - met Shri Krishna. They were talking and after some time Narada asked "Prabhu, I was reading and came across this word MAYA. I searched around in a lot of texts, asked my peers and Gurus...
But no one could give me a satisfactory answer. Prabhu, with your profound knowledge. Can you please tell me, What is MAYA?"
Shri Krishna in a warning tone "Narada, are you sure, you are ready to know the meaning of MAYA"
Narada (Determined): Yes, Prabhu. I want to know the meaning of MAYA.
Shri Krishna replied: "Ok Narada I will show you. Let’s lie down here in the shade and I shall tell you everything. But first, Narada, it’s terribly hot; would you get me a cool glass of water?”
Once, Raja Janaka was peacefully sleeping in his Royal Palace. It was very early in the morning. A Servant comes running "Rajaji please wake-up, our kingdom has been attacked". Losing no time, Raja Janaka readied himself for battle.
Though Raja Janaka fought real hard. He couldn't defeat the enemy. They were outnumbered. He lost the battle. He was badly battered and bruised. The enemy said "You are a king, we won't kill you, now that I have won the war this kingdom of yours is mine"
"You are Banished from this Kingdom, leave your Kingdom right now". Raja Janaka was injured, bruised, defeated. He walked through his own kingdom. Fearing the new King, his own people didn't help him with Food or Water. He walked for 2 days to reach the border.
