How do i approach my photostudy✨

Photostudy can be overwhelming sometimes, but i hope how i approach it will inspire you and to make it more enjoyable!

I think break down the photo is important, can be breaking down into shapes, colors, or FG, MG, and BG

When in complicated photo, i often use to make the shapes with greyscale color first then fill them with colors

I always use different layers on lighting. Shading with multiply mode and lighting with add or color dodge! And last thing id add another lighting on top of it, or highlights, or try other things basically to see if it fits or not

Photostudy is the way for me to try new things, new method, experiencing on textures and colors, without thinking about concept. so just be free and dont be afraid to make it imperfect basically!! There's always other art to draw, other time to practice!
