I helped her buy a couple things at my store. Very kind and low-key. A little quiet. Seemed like she didn't want to attract too much attention to herself. I pretended not to know who she was, but I was dying inside.
She was really nice but didn't stay too long; the store was getting busy and I think she didn't want to make a scene.

Lesson #2: Dr. Magnus Hirschfield, a Jewish German doctor, founded the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, which contributed greatly to trans lives through the study of trans identity. His institute was destroyed by Nazi's in 1933, but his work left a major impact.
