A pseudonymous artist is quickly becoming one of the highest grossing digital artists nearly overnight.

You almost won't believe this story.

Time for a thread πŸ‘‡πŸ½πŸ‘‡πŸ½πŸ‘‡πŸ½
1/ About 2 weeks ago, someone reached out to me about a digital art collection that they had created.

It came via Twitter DM.

Not sure why this one caught my eye, but I was intrigued by their question.
2/ The individual told me they were a digital artist and they wanted to find a partner for launching their new collection.

They explained they wanted to launch it under a pseudonym, but were worried that no one would discover their work.
3/ Once I saw the first piece that the digital artist had created, I knew it would be a home run collection.

The artist decided to use the name @rekodi_i and would sell every piece of art for 0.01 ETH, including starting every auction at that amount too.

Democratizing access.
4/ The artist @rekodi_i promised me they would have a full collection of incredible digital art within 7 days.

I promised them that I could get people to discover their incredible work.

We partnered for the satoshi collection and dropped it on March 9th (this past Tuesday).
5/ Here is what @rekodi_i did on Day 1:

- Each piece was a 1 of 1
- Sold 10 pieces for 0.01 ETH
- One piece was resold for $10,000
- First auction piece sold for $40,000

This was an incredible start for a brand new artist.
6/ After more than $50,000 of sales in the first day, @rekodi_i had an even better second day.

The second auction piece (satoshi magma) was sold for approximately $70,000.

The art is dope, but the demand is nearly unfathomable.
7/ Digital artist @rekodi_i has a final piece from the satoshi collection up for auction and it ends tonight.

The piece is called satoshi toothpick and the current bid is at $6,436.

My guess is that the winning bid will crack $100,000.
8/ I'm fascinated by the fact that a pseudonymous person can create art and sell it to complete strangers on the internet now.

It is the ultimate free market. People either find it valuable or they don't.

The market can reward anyone and can punish everyone.

It is ruthless.
9/ The demand for @rekodi_i's work is unlike anything I've ever seen.

There are very few digital artists who have dropped collections worth 6 figures, let alone artists who do it on their first drop.

As I've been saying, @rekodi_i is going to be worth watching.
10/10 Tonight's auction ends in a few hours & will be fascinating to watch.

The satoshi toothpick piece is the final piece available in @rekodi_i's satoshi collection.

Peter Thiel allegedly built a $90+ million tax-free Roth IRA.

The crazy part? The maximum amount you're allowed to contribute to a Roth is $6,000 per year.

Time for a thread πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
1/ Peter Thiel is a self-made billionaire famous for co-founding PayPal, Palantir, and Founders Fund.

He was also the first outside investor in Facebook, which has led to a net worth reported to be around $5.7 billion.
2/ Thiel is 53 years old, assuming he's been maxing out his Roth since he was 18, the maximum amount he could have contributed is $210,000.

So how did he earn more than 23,000% return on his retirement account?

The United States is in really bad financial shape.

The government has taken in more federal income tax every year since 2009, yet they lose more and more money each year.

Time for a thread πŸ‘‡πŸ½πŸ‘‡πŸ½πŸ‘‡πŸ½
1/ The US government has more revenue coming in the door every year.

Since 2009, federal income tax revenue has almost doubled.
2/ Although the US government has made more revenue each year, they continue to lose money year after year.

The last time the government spent less than it made was in 2001.

For 20 years, the government has lost money. Insane.

I've been running a sleep experiment for the last few weeks and I'm now averaging about 9 hours a night.

The hacks are simple. Anyone can do it.

Time for a thread πŸ‘‡πŸ½πŸ‘‡πŸ½πŸ‘‡πŸ½
1/ I used to pride myself on being able to function on a lack of sleep.

Whether it was travel, work, or procrastinating on the internet, I would regularly stay awake late into the night.

It was common for me to operate on 4-5 hours and then drink a gazillion coffees each day.
2/ It became obvious over the last few months that I needed to improve my sleep.

I read a few books. Listened to podcasts with sleep experts. And @polina_marinova annoyed me to death.

Here is what I learned...
