Successful content creators will make great startup co-founders. This is why I think so:
(A THREAD)
1. They have successfully built an audience from scratch.
2. They started their journey making content end-to-end themselves. Writing, storyboarding, shooting, editing, promoting & interacting with the audience.
3. They have seen ups & downs in their journey. Some content fails miserably while some goes viral.
4. Most of them have gone from being a one-person army to hiring an entire team.
5. They are excellent marketeers.
6. They already know how to “collaborate”.
7. They have seen dreams come true, and understand what it takes to be successful.
8. They have proven credibility.
9. Their following is a ready-to-go potential customer base... which can drive initial sales & sampling efforts.
10. Their digital distribution mechanism is sorted i.e. they already have a voice on the major social media platforms.
While no one can guarantee entrepreneurial success, I believe successful content creators have some aspects that place them at an advantage. What do you think?
