Many things were changed or simplified in the anime but I enjoyed Ichinose scenes the most I think. There is something charming about t.

I can't fathom enough how butchered the anime is compare to LN. We know how many things were reordered but it really is very cruel. I think introducing way too many characters was a big mistake from anime also Ichinose took a big hit.

The ominous yet mysterious well known quote of Ayanokoji in the book is not as terrifying and shocking like in anime. As many have pointed out in LN he feels human but doesn't understand how emotions work also? Zero mentions of White Room nor flashbacks.

Involvement of Karuizawa was certainly more appearent than in the show and its understandable that people were pissed. Especially when we consider the future events and whatnot. Here she is very bitchy but still likeable to some degree in anime, however? Zero, non existant.

Sakura's scenes were much better here and it showed us that Ayanokoji is not as emotionless as he appeared in adaptation. The chapter with bug in the hair of Sakura perfectly portrays this matter. He was also resistant to touch the bug but wished to help.

Ryuuen's character basically stayed the same and I've no complaints about it very malicious and shitty person he is. No problems with his portrayal in anime and LN at all.

Ibuki also seemed the same as before.
But I feel like the little PoV of her in one chapter made her more hm compelling? And I pitied her character.

All in all it was a great volume that had some neat dialogue and scenes that were very tense. As with You Zitsu the more we go the more the cast grows. The cover showed who is the attention this time and can't deny that. Need more Ichinose.
