Officially, Claudinho plays as a left-sided midfielder in a 4-3-3 but he drifts out wide to find space to receive the ball.
Considering his 3.1 key passes/90mins (best in the league), I think he should’ve had a couple more assists.

We have yet to find out since this is his first season in the Brasileirão since 2017, but 20 xG+xA along with 24 G+A is definitely impressive!

When looking at his actual goals, the negative xG-G (10-18) makes sense.

Looks like a player who will be outperforming his xG throughout his career with his incredible long shots.
His creative numbers speak for themselves, but they’ll certainly drop a bit if he goes to a better club where he won’t be the only star.
