It is a shame that Mayoral candidate @LozzaFox thinks only military heroes deserve statues. But should he win, I look forward to seeing the following VC winners commemorated in statue form..... [THREAD]
Samuel Hodge
Badlu Singh
Kulbir Thapa
Khudadad Khan
Karanbahadur Rana
Nand Singh
Ali Haidar
Sher Shah Awan
Bhanbhagta Gurung
Prakash Singh Chib
Namdeo Jadav
Karamjeet Singh Judge
Fazal Din
Gian Singh
Lachhiman Gurung
Johnson Beharry
Rambahadur Limbu.
Look up the history of some of these guys. The great unsung heroes of military history. I am sure @LozzaFox will ensure they are commemorated and celebrated.
Although, Laurence Fox isn't known for his historical knowledge. Remember when he thought no Sikhs fought in WW1?

Exhibit 39: #PrivacyGate
Any parent in the public eye would understandably want to keep their kids out of the gaze of the paparazzi. Yet look at how differently the two royal couples are treated for it. ImageImageImageImage
Exhibit 40: #ExpensiveClothingGate
If in the public eye as much as Meghan and Kate, one has to dress well. That doesn't come cheap. McQueen and De La Renta are both top designers, neither are cheap. Why is £94k worth of clothing OK for one, but the other "has expensive taste"? ImageImageImage
Exhibit 41: #BabyGenderGate
Apparently noone in the UK ever knows the gender of their expected baby, despite the clarity of ultrasound scans. Knowing the gender of your baby is "the LA way", linked to Meghan's nationality. (Nationality is part of race).

Who are all the hypocrites who voted against abolishing the Tampon Tax back in 2015 but have had a sudden change of heart? First up, Steve Baker, Conservative MP for Wycombe.
Next we have Bernard Jenkin, Conservative MP for Harwich and North Essex. The patronising way in which he calls Stella Creasy "feisty" really shows his commitment against sexism. Nice job!
Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor and Conservative MP for Richmond, Yorkshire, also voted against the 2015 motion to abolish the Tampon tax. What's with the autographed graphics, Rishi? Do you think you're some kind of rock star?

Please stop quoting pasta prices. A packet of pasta won't feed a family alone. You never cater for all the sauce ingredients, kitchen implements, cooking gear, energy, time. You fail to budget for competing demands of home heating, rent, water rates & council tax, among others.
Until you people recognise that others are entitled to a degree of variety in their food, nutrition instead of empty calories, fresh fruit and vegetables, clothing, shoes, internet access (don't pretend job seeking and many other services and needs are possible without it!)...
Then I am, like other people, sick of your shopping lists and diktats about how cheaply people can feed their families. For years and years the ONLY TVs available are flat screen. So stop all this nonsense about phones and TVs suggesting a lack of poverty. It's nonsense.

As Conservative MPs bemoan the lack of proper debate, a reminder of their rhetoric.
Lawyers: activists, lefty do gooders
Judges: enemies of the people
Refugees: illegal immigrants
Remainers: saboteurs, traitors.
Legislation: surrender bill
Corbyn: a big girls blouse.
Given that Bradley and Saxby are two of the worst offenders only very recently, their gaslighting is all the more unacceptable.
Neither Saxby nor Bradley have been quoted out of context. Their whole social media posts have been screenshotted, and posted EXACTLY as they wrote them. When your exact words are used, that cannot be said to be out of context. We're not buying it.

Conservative MPs have been falling over themselves to defend Dominic Cummings. Health Secretary Matt Hancock has today undermined months of his own work to control the virus.

Lots of you thought Rishi Sunak was a half decent bloke, doing his best in difficult circumstances. Then he tweeted this and people shook their heads, muttering "Oh Rishi"!

Dominic Raab, who was once a solicitor in the City, doesn't appear to have read his own government's legislation on the lockdown measures.

Boris Johnson, you are a racist, Islamophobic, Anti-Semite. No, your words have not been taken out of context. No, your words are not "robust". Your words are blatant, explicit and clear. It's all in print, it's all capable of being evidenced. [THREAD]
You seemed to have a problem with the end of Apartheid. Apartheid was a crime against humanity, of the brutal oppression of black people in their own country. Yet when it came to an end, your response displayed your lack of respect for those black people.
You made the huge, sweeping statement that all Asian culture is corrupt and rife with bribery. You deployed the "goodness gracious me" trope, and made predictable jibes about ghee and onion bhajis when writing about a British asian politician.
