I received evidence from across sector. Loss of touring threatens careers and the future of our world class music industry. Those starting out will be unable to get careers going. Many at pinnacle of careers will move abroad. And many finding music is no longer a viable option 2/
Pre-covid the music industry was worth almost £6bn and provided 197,168 jobs. Musicians have been battered by covid and their recovery is in jeopardy because of Govt’s Brexit deal. It doesn’t have to be this way. 3/6
