NEW: US intel report finds that Russia and Iran tried to influence the 2020 US presidential election.

The report also determined that China considered, but did not deploy influence efforts intended to change the outcome of the election. on.msnbc.com/2OXgJqU
Assessment found Russian operatives did not hack into 2020 election infrastructure, but found President Putin authorized "influence operations aimed at denigrating President Biden's candidacy and the Democratic Party, supporting former President Trump.” nbcnews.com/politics/natio…
"China sought stability in its relationship with the United States, did not view either election outcome as being advantageous enough for China to risk getting caught meddling," the assessment says.
The assessment found no indication that any foreign actor tried to hack or otherwise compromise any technical aspect of the voting process in the 2020 election, meaning software, voting machines, vote tabulation or registration data.

Pres. Biden: "Today, we mark a truly grim, heartbreaking milestone. 500,071 dead. That's more Americans who have died in one year in this pandemic than in World War I, World War II and the Vietnam War combined. That's more lives lost to this virus than any other nation on Earth."
President Biden reflects on the 500,000 lives lost to Covid-19: "We often hear people described as ordinary Americans. There's no such thing. There's nothing ordinary about them. The people we lost were extraordinary. They span generations. Born in America, emigrated to America."
