In reviewing today's #RussianReport, I pinpointed ties between Russia's 2020 interference and U.S. figures & organizations. Some of these people appear to have been directly involved in Russia’s efforts. Others are connected indirectly. In some cases, that line is blurred.
Direct Ties: Rudy Giuliani, Roger Stone, Michael Caputo, Kash Patel, Sen. Ron Johnson, Sen. Chuck Grassley, Rep. Devin Nunes, Ali Alexander, Jack Posobiec, Stop The Steal, and One America News Network.
Indirect: Paul Manafort, Tucker Carlson, Tulsi Gabbard, and Jill Stein.
Putin was "aware of and probably directed Russia's influence operations" in 2019 & 2020. The report names Andriy Derkach specifically.
Rudy Giuliani, Devin Nunes, and Kash Patel were all working together with Andriy Derkach. Giuliani even went on TV with him.
US Intelligence also found that Putin's network sought to put blame for 2016 election interference on Ukraine. This has been a common talking point of the GOP's for years.
"Derkach, Kilimnik, and their associates sought to use prominent US persons AND MEDIA CONDUITS to launder their narratives to US officials and audiences."
One America News (OAN) served this role well. OAN pushed disinformation and brought Rudy, Derkach, and others on to help.
"Russian proxies met with and provided materials to Trump administration-linked US persons to advocate for formal investigations."
Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley have been accused of using investigations as a conduit for Russian disinformation. justsecurity.org/71947/how-sen-…
Russia contacted US media figures "and helped produce a documentary that aired on a US television network in late January 2020."
This is 'The Ukraine Hoax,’ a documentary produced by Russian asset & Trump official Michael Caputo. He also stars in the doc, which aired on OAN.
Russia "backed candidates from both major US political parties that Moscow viewed as outsiders."
Hillary warned that Russia liked Tulsi Gabbard and that 3rd party candidate Jill Stein is a Russian asset. Hillary was taken out of context, & Tulsi became the story instead of Jill.
"Russia’s online influence actors sought to amplify mistrust in the electoral process by... accusing the Democratic Party of voter fraud."
Stop The Steal, anyone? Stop The Steal 2020 was first mentioned in September by Ali Alexander & Jack Posobiec (OAN). trumpfile.org/jack-posobiec-…
Russia "published disparaging content" about Hunter Biden, and the GOP helped. But Tucker Carlson seemed more invested than most media figures. He put himself in the CENTER of the disinformation. Who invented his missing USB story? Did he ever have a USB?
Russia "frequently sought out US contributors to increase their reach into US audiences… [and] promoted conspiratorial narratives about the COVID-19 pandemic, made allegations of social media censorship, and highlighted US divisions surrounding protests about racial justice."
"After the election, [Russian assets] continued to promote narratives questioning the election... These efforts parallel plans Moscow had in place in 2016 to discredit a potential incoming Clinton administration, but which it scraped after former President Trump’s victory."
So, Russia had a plan before the 2016 election to say the election was rigged against Trump, if he lost. They used the same plan in 2020.
Guess what else started months before the election in 2016 and was brought back months before the election in 2020?
STOP THE STEAL.
In the US, the one thing that the 2016 & 2020 elections had in common -- besides Trump & Russia -- is Stop The Steal. The 2016 Stop The Steal campaign was led by Roger Stone, who admitted back then that Russia was behind the DNC hack. His associate, Ali Alexander, ran STS 2020.
I am posting the thread now but will be updating it soon with some things you should know that ~aren't~ in the US Intelligence report.
The report mentions Russian officials and proxies communicating with US officials and people close to the Trump Administration. Let’s talk about Russia, Trump, and some of the people he knows...
In July 2019, Donald Trump fired the then-Director of National Intelligence for drafting a report that warned of Russia’s election influence efforts. In 2020, Trump fired another DNI just because an official said that Russia wants him to win. trumpfile.org/trump-fires-in…
Trump’s fifth and final DNI, John Ratcliffe, released a report in September that had already been identified as part of a Russian disinformation campaign. It claimed that Hillary Clinton orchestrated the Trump-Russia story. Ratcliffe promoted the document as factual.
In May 2020, Chad Wolf ordered a DHS official to end all reporting on Russian election interference. Two months later, Wolf blocked a report that identified Russia’s role in promoting the Joe Biden “cognitive decline” narrative. trumpfile.org/chad-wolf-orde…
Rep. Pete Sessions is the son of William Sessions, an attorney for Putin friend and Russian mafia leader Semion Mogilevich. He sat at the top of the FBI’s Most Wanted until James Comey removed him from the list. trumpfile.org/rep-pete-sessi…
One of Trump’s post-election lawyers, Joseph diGenova, began work for one of Putin and Mogilevich’s associates in July 2019. That relationship was arranged by Rudy. DiGenova’s stepson, Brady Toensing, was positioned in Trump’s DOJ. He might still be there. trumpfile.org/trump-lawyer-t…
Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul helped block sanctions on a Russian company known to be used by Putin as a proxy for election interference. trumpfile.org/mcconnell-lead…
The Kremlin views Sens. Richard Shelby, Steve Daines, John Hoeven, Ron Johnson, John Kennedy, Jerry Moran, John Thune, and Rep. Kay Granger as allies after the group’s 2018 trip to Moscow. trumpfile.org/republican-law…
Rep. Kevin McCarthy has received hundreds of thousands in donations from an associate of a Putin proxy. trumpfile.org/russia-tied-le…
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher met with Julian Assange in 2017 to try and clear Trump from Russian collusion claims. Kevin McCarthy was recorded saying that he thinks Trump and Rohrabacher work for Putin. trumpfile.org/house-gop-lead…
In November, Sens. Lindsey Graham, John Cornyn, Marsha Blackburn, and Josh Hawley defended Russia, attacking the FBI and claiming the bureau invented the Trump-Russia story. trumpfile.org/senate-republi…
Marsha Blackburn is also responsible for blocking two bills that were aimed at protecting the election from foreign influence. Russia must love her. trumpfile.org/gop-blocks-bil…
Ezra Cohen-Watnick helped Devin Nunes shift blame from Russia to the FBI in 2017 and was believed to be a national security risk, like his former boss Michael Flynn. He was placed in the Pentagon in early 2020. trumpfile.org/trump-bannon-k…
In August, Michael Caputo directed health department funds to the friend of a Russian spy family. trumpfile.org/michael-caputo…
It's also worth mentioning that the social networks promoted most by Republicans — Parler and Telegram — have origins in Russia, making them a likely outlet for Kremlin propaganda and disinformation.
One of the biggest pushers of disinformation (and Q) before and after the election is Michael Flynn, who we know has been working for Russian interests for years.
With more time and information, many others --like Steve Bannon-- would probably be included in this thread, too.
Source links for all of the information in this thread are available on Trump File here ⬇️ trumpfile.org/intelligence-p…
P.S. Konstantin Kilimnik is also mentioned in the report. He's the Russian tool that the Trump campaign shared voter registration data with in 2016. trumpfile.org/paul-manafort-…
P.S.2. You know how Alex Jones loved pushing disinformation about Q and the election on to his viewers before leading the march to the Capitol?
I'm sure he has plenty of selfish reasons for that, but he has something else too: a Russian visa. trumpfile.org/alex-jones-cla…
There have been over 700 attempts to hack into my account on TrumpFile.org since I wrote this thread. Someone is very, very mad at me.
More evidence that Tucker is directly involved in Russian disinformation
Anyone know who Clarence Thomas is with in this leaked photo from Bohemian Grove in 2005?
The two on the right are actor Glen Ash and possibly a geologist named Shell Medall. Who's on the left?
Here are a few more photos that appear to have leaked last month, from 2003 and 2005. Clarence Thomas has been visiting Bohemian Grove with Harlan Crow since the late 90s.
The photos above were allegedly sent to YouTube creator Colin Browen by a Bohemian Grove member and released on his YouTube channel three weeks ago. Cc: @propublica
Donald Trump himself, not just Project 2025, has said he will militarize police departments, build new detention centers, and even send armed troops into U.S. cities to HUNT for immigrants like the Nazis did.
But this won’t just impact undocumented immigrants. 🧵
Trump has called immigrants criminals, psychos, animals, rapists, murderers and even subhuman. He is repeating after Adolf Hitler every time.
Did you know that before building the concentration camps, Hitler was also exploring a way to DEPORT Jews to Africa – and not just Jews?
Hundreds of thousands were impacted by Hitler’s attacks on other marginalized groups, including immigrants, black people, gay people, people with mental or physical disabilities, and anyone of a religion that contradicted the Nazi agenda.
Today in 2016, Sen. Harry Reid sent a letter to James Comey warning that Russia was tampering in the 2016 election (which the Senate Intel Committee confirmed four years later). trumpfile.org/harry-reid-war…
The letter from Reid to Comey came after senior intelligence officials warned Congress that Russia may be actively engaged in an effort to “falsify" the 2016 election results. trumpfile.org/harry-reid-war…
Two months after his first letter (today in 2016), Sen. Harry Reid wrote to Comey again and accused him of using the FBI to help Russia elect Donald Trump. trumpfile.org/harry-reid-pen…
25 years ago this month, Donald Trump affiliate Semion Mogilevich was found to be the mastermind of the largest money-laundering operation in history, funneling BILLIONS into the U.S. from Russia. trumpfile.org/investigators-…
Let’s talk about a few times Donald Trump endorsed the type of authoritarianism that Project 2025 is promising. 🧵
From 1985-90, Gorbachev ended book bans, gave workers the right to strike, opened elections to multiple parties, loosened state control of the media, and allowed citizens to start their own businesses.
In 1990, Trump called these advancements a sign of “extraordinary weakness."
Trump said that a strong leader would handle his people the way China handled Tiananmen Square in 1989. China declared martial law, killed thousands of civilians, and lied about the death count. That’s how he thinks the United States should handle protests, too.
