We were interested to know the identities of those police officers responsible for the @LGBTpoliceuk account given its recent social media output. @CollegeofPolice told us they didn’t know - ask the forces. So we did.

They don’t know.
So we now have a secret and unaccountable group of senior police officers who will threaten to ‘report’ citizens for the exercise of their protected political speech.

Remember the response to our follower who complained?
So no one knows who these people are. No one will hold them to account. They operate with the sanction of the police. They threaten to ‘report’ us. To whom? For what? What consequences? They won’t say.
The ‘disinhibition effect’ of anonymity on social media is well known and has dangerous consequences - it allows people to say things they would never say to a real person in front of them. That’s why it’s so important to have transparency and accountability from these groups.
Many members of our group have to remain anonymous because of the likely reprisals that will follow if they aren’t. But they aren’t threatening to ‘report’ people from an account affiliated to and apparently backed by the police.
We think this is a very serious matter and we won’t let it drop.
We haven’t let it drop. Will update you as we go. This isn’t right.

Dear T/Commander Blackburn @CityPoliceCB We note you used the pejorative term ‘trolls’ in relation to women during a recent conference.

We have written to @LGBTpoliceuk asking for details of all senior officers within that organisation pending legal action.
The dehumanising of a class protected by virtue of sex is a recognised precursor to violence. We note an officer of @metpoliceuk is currently under arrest for indecent exposure, kidnap and murder. Do you see the link?
The @CollegeofPolice claims that antilocution (shit talking) is step 1 of 5 on a journey to genocide. Why do you consider that calling women ‘trolls’ does not count especially given that 2 women a week are unlawfully killed?

And we are back! #FairCopAppeal

JC: on the question of retention periods, some evidence before court below.

{WHY ISNT THIS CLEAR AND CONSISTENT?}
Answer seems to be 'it depends' on local policies and how applies? Suggestion is 6 years.
JC Returning to submissions about implications for individual about categorisation of complaint about hate. Para 177 of Knowles J judgment, he accepted submission that while overall information is important to policing, the 'mere recording' has no real consequence.

IW continues: it was NOT an objective fact that my client had committed a 'hate incident'.

Now issue of proportionality. What is the correct approach on appeal? Will need to establish a significant error of principle. We say there were.
IW: looks at speech by Lord Sayles

JUDGE - we have observations from the Supreme Court and that is the right place to turn.

TODAY. 2pm.

@HarryTheOwl101 in the Court of Appeal. Link to live streaming below.

Why is this important and why should you care?

judiciary.uk/you-and-the-ju…
Its been 2 years since Harry’s thinking was first checked by PC Gul - described by Mr Justice Knowles at the first hearing as behaviour akin to the Cheka, the Stasi and the Gestapo.

Read the first judgment here.

In that time over 120k ‘non crime hate incidents’ have been recorded. The police claim this is ‘essential’ to prevent our ‘escalation’ into criminality - but when asked, not a single force could tell us what they did with this data, other than disclose it to potential employers.

TOMORROW. The Court of Appeal will examine the validity of the Hate Crimes Guidance.

Hopefully it will also be aware of the existence of a new movement #superstraight.

This is a declared sexual orientation now with its own flag. And subject to threats and hatred. ImageImageImageImage
Remember. The police MUST record ALL reports about hatred towards sexual orientation, simply because anyone believes someone has experienced hate because of it.

They state there must be ‘categorical’ evidence of malice before they would refuse. Image
We and others continue to point out the absurdity of perception based reporting of ‘hate incidents’. Not a single police force could tell us what they did with their ‘hate incident’ data and how they used it to prevent escalation.

1. By the way, we consider all mixing of politics with policing to be sinister.
