Amrabhai Boricha, the 50-year-old activist, was attacked with spears, iron pipes and swords till he died in Sanodar village, under police protection! This brutal attack was carried out by Kshatriyas of the village, right infront of his daughter's eyes.
His was the lone Dalit family in Sanodar village & that the Kshatriyas were trying to usurp his land as well as his residential plot.
Amrabhai was attacked 13 times before the gruesome 14th attack took his life.

A month ago, Boricha, who was primarily a farmer, had complained against the Kshatriyas at the Ghogha police station, but sub-inspector P.R. Solanki did not register an FIR. In 2013, he was attacked and his legs were broken.
You do not have to be a Dalit or a minority to feel the anger reading what happened with Amrabhai. This is the lawlessness in the "Model State" of Gujarat - where crimes are carried out with the support of the police.
