I didn't expect my latest (and wordy) IG post to generate the level of catharsis it has, so for those of you who don't follow me over at instagram.com/chrisrafferty, I present it here, trying out my first ever Twitter THREAD:

(1/13)
7.5 years ago, I first stepped foot into the @WarnerBrosTV building as a lifelong writer who had no industry contacts. Selected from thousands to be one of the few in the @WBTVWorkshop, I was extremely nervous & intimidated, eager & excited, ready to give it my all.

(2/13)
Yesterday, we finished shooting my final episode of #Lucifer. And as I revisited this building, I reflected on how much has changed over these years. And I don't mean my longer hair, whiter beard and extra wrinkles.

(3/13)
The knowledge, experience, confidence, and relationships I’ve gained during my time on #Lucifer have completely reshaped my world. I am extremely proud to have worked on this show for its entire 6-season run.

(4/13)
Rising from Staff Writer to Co-Executive Producer, I've put every ounce of my energy, passion and heart into helping create these 92 episodes of television and producing all 10 episodes that I've written & co-written.

(5/13)
And through it all, I've gained a family. One that will always mean the world to me. ❤️

(6/13)
Please keep in mind that those of us who create #Lucifer are going through a profound moment in our lives. The end of something precious and rare. But an end that we are all at peace with.

(7/13)
Before requesting more behind-the-scenes pics, please know that making a show during the pandemic is especially difficult, and that we snap & share what we can.

(8/13)
Before demanding more seasons, please know that #LuciferSeason6 IS the end, and those of us creating it want it that way.

(9/13)
And before asking for release dates, please remember that we WILL tell you when there is something to tell. We are SO eager to share what we've created, but until we do, there is nothing to share.

(10/13)
So sit back, be excited when news finally drops, know that you have much more to look forward to, and that we have been doing everything we can to give you our very best.

(11/13)
I've had a very emotional time working on #GoodbyeLucifer. I still have a few editing sessions ahead of me. But soon, my work on #Lucifer will be complete.

(12/13)
After this marathon, I am looking forward to a bit of rest. But I'm also excited about the future projects I've secretly been working on.

Lucifer is ending, but I am just beginning...
