Do you have any idea of the responses to these processes? Is there any opposition by local people?
Shiff:
For me, I don't want to be "the voice" of the Palestinians who do oppose this. But what I think I can do is bring a critical stance on the hegemony that I am also part of here. So, maybe I should, but I didn't speak with people other than official stakeholders

Are there movements today that are trying to preserve the memory of Terminal House?
Shiff:
There are a lot of movements, not 'official' ones, but they include NGOs. The Palestinian population in Jaffa today as well. But they are not able to have much influence or power in the discussions here
