*Ex-Sen. Frank Artiles allegedly paid 40 grand to auto parts dealer to run as no-party candidate.
*Sham candidate had the same surname as incumbent Dem.
*Scam was aimed at confusing voters. And it worked.

Here’s the arrest warrant supporting felony case against Ex-Sen. Frank Artiles, which concludes that he paid the sham candidate $44,708.03 for “qualifying as an independent candidate for Senate Seat 37, and attempting to siphon votes from the incumbent.”
