Bringing these events together, it was very important to me to end the week with next steps in disability advocacy. I am excited to give this workshop on Intersectional Advocacy at @UCSanDiego. Have you heard of a Disability Justice Commission? Tune in Sunday to learn more!

Once again, I am so excited to welcome the @UofCalifornia to @UCSanDiego for our Disability Awareness Track. This track is for disabled students by disabled students, but also to make @UofCalifornia and @UCPrezDrake aware that we are a community with our own culture.

I feel like this event is just the beginning for the Disability community within the @UofCalifornia system, not just for students. But for all of us including disabled staff, faculty and alumni as the @_UCSA Disability Ad Hoc is in the process of going non-profit!

You will also learn more about the Disability Ad Hoc Committee on Sunday as well. Disability Advocacy is within & beyond @UCSanDiego. I hope that professors and PI’s in @UofCalifornia will share this event with their department, students or research assistants. See you soon!
