Itโ€™s not about how many books you read,

Itโ€™s about how much you gain from your study.

And thatโ€™s the whole point, isnโ€™t it?

You want to learn and apply.
So how to remember things you read in books?

Here are 5 simple but practical tips:
1. Have a purpose

First of all, ask yourself what do I want to achieve?
Then think about which book you want to read.

You must connect with the content, thatโ€™s why you need a purpose to read.
2. Ask yourself questions

Asking questions helps you understand more deeply.
In asking questions, youโ€™re trying to explain. And that creates a better understanding.

When reading a book, stop, ask yourself and try to explain.
3. Share your knowledge

Donโ€™t just read a book. Devour a book and talk about it with others.

It feels good and also helps you understand more by discussing the matters.
4. Connect the dots

The more connections you make between pieces of info in your brain, the better you learn and remember it.

You have to learn all the big ideas in the key disciplines in a way that they're in a mental latticework in your head.
5. Use flashcards

Flashcards help you engage in active recall which teaches your brain to remember.

By learning something in this way, stronger connections form in your brain, make it more likely to remember the information in the future.
Bonus Tip: Develop mental models in your brain.

Hard work ethics is so overrated that we always mistake a lot of work for effective work.

Youโ€™ve been told to work 9-5, and thatโ€™s where the problem begins!

Itโ€™s not about the time; itโ€™s about productivity.
Time is a lousy metric.

You can work 4 hours a day and still do more than a guy who spends 8 hours in an office, playing games with his cellphone.

But how?

Here are some tactics that can boost your productivity:

=A THREAD BY WD=
Intelligence is not just about IQ scores.

A single test canโ€™t give a clear picture of intelligence.

There are other factors to consider.
