Women have been on the frontlines of every fight for social justice in our country.

This #InternationalWomensMonth I wanted to take a moment to recognize two of Jersey City’s most inspiring women, and the work that they do to make Jersey City a better place.
Pam Johnson has been a force for change and advocate for racial justice through her work w/ the @JCACM201. She pushed for a strong CCRB not only in JC but also in NJ. She is always ready to advocate for her city. Her commitment and passion is inspiring.
Asheenia Johnson is a committed advocate for all of JC. She dedicated years of public service @ City Hall & in Trenton. Her & Pam have led important community conversations through the JCACM. She ensures that everyone has a chance to be heard & puts in the work to make JC better
Thank you Pam & Asheenia!
