*Re: Murder Case Frank Ajas Afanvi*
The incident occurred on 29th November 2020 and the case was charged to Magistrate court 1, Yaba Lagos State on 10th December, 2020. The accused, Ogunbayo waliu and Mukaila Salami, were remanded. Since the case had been charged to court,
the police has no power to release them on bail. Everything is determined by court.

The allegation that the police have released them is unfounded and unfair. The command will not, in anyway, toy with such capital and sensitive offence. The command has also notified the
Mortuary to respond to the allegation of mutilating the corpse after the post mortem had been done.

The Commissioner of Police has ordered that the OC Legal of the command to find out about the alleged release of the accused from remand..but the police was not aware
of their release neither did we grant them any administrative bail at our end.
