During British rule in subcontinent, after 1893 Durand Line Agreement between Mortimer Duran & Amir Abdurehman of Afg, Pashtun tribes of North West Frontier started an uprising against British in their areas. Malakand, Mohmand, Khyber & Tirah saw fierce battles in 1890s.
Swatis, Diroji, Mohmand, Afridis, Yousafzai, Wazir, Orakzai and other Pashtun tribes started attacking British Forces. As a result, British forces launched many expeditions to counter the uprising of Pashtuns. British Raj claimed that the areas of North West Frontier are now...

The terrorists who martyred four boys are from the same tribe i.e Jani Khel Wazir and from the same area i.e Jani Khel, Bannu. They're relatives of the same people who're sitting there in sit-in. Recently, TTP terrorists of the same tribe...
...and same area martyred other locals telling people that they were working for agencies & army, but no one, neither the locals uttered even a single word for those martyred people, rather they said, "jasoosan wo" (they were spies of army).
In Jani Khel, two local terrorist groups are operating against each other having differences since long and mostly hire locals, including young boys to plant IEDs against each.
In last two years, army has killed more than 20 terrorists in Jani Khel and also arrested many...
Great to see the young newly graduated civil servants taking pride in wearing uniform of Pakistan Army & taking pictures so as to save their moments as memories. It'd have been great if they were taken for a tour of institutions like Command & Staff College (C&SC), School of...
...Infantry & Tactics (SI&T), School of Armour & Mechanised Warfare (SA&MW), PAF Academy and Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) etc because these institutions are the backbone of Pakistan Armed Forces & are itself a new world of learning & education.
The military attachment of civil servants provids them opportunity to look into the system of military from very close & to interact with officers & soldiers both & learn their routine. The soldiers & officers they meet are veterns of WoT operations, they've a lot of unsung...
They pay for house in DHA or Askari. It's not for free. 10-25k is dedicated from their salaries throughout their service as instalments & same goes to DHA Housing Scheme. They become members of this scheme when join army from PMA by giving Rs 1 lakh. Anyone can join this scheme.
Most of the people living in DHA ans Askaris are not from Army. They're civilians. They either buy the house or become members of the DHA housing scheme, give installments just like the army persons and get a house or flat at the end. Any desirous individual can get that.
Also, even after retirement, since the installments aren't enough to meet the complete price of the house, army persons (after retirement) give almost 20-40 lakhs to get complete ownership of the house. It's their hard earned money my friends.
I think this is why France is pissed off so much at Turkey.
In Kurulus Osman, they've shown the first Ottomon Sultan Osman Ghazi capturing different forts & strongholds of Byzantine Empire which were under the Byzantine Emperor at Constantinople.
This state sponsored series has shown the history of Turkey against the Byzantine Empire which at that time was pushing hard to recapture Jerusalem back from Muslims.
