1. This afternoon I'd like to familiarize you with the persona "Ryan Landry" before I introduce you to the man behind it this weekend.

Unless you were monitoring hate before the August 2017 UniteTheRight rally, you've probably never heard of him, but he was important.
2. The reason why you've probably never heard of him is because in the aftermath there was a huge backlash against the alt-right. A wave of doxxes crashed upon their heads and Ryan retired to spend more time with his family.

3. He deactivated his "28 Sherman" blog. He deactivated his Instagram account, his @/28ShermanSOBL1 Twitter account, and other social media. He left his Social Matter articles, his freelance Daily Caller work, and his weekly series on Richard Spencer’s RadixJournal.
4. He had been audio interviewed by Richard Spencer, Henrik Palmgren from Red Ice, Matt Forney on "This Alt Right Life", and twice on the Rebel Yell podcast by the Identity Dixie hate group.

He was important in the eyes of big names in hate.
5. Ryan Landry was a writer and thinker in the Neoreactionary/NRx movement, which was a feeder to the alt-right and provided the semblance of intellectual foundation to white supremacy in 2012-2017.

theatlantic.com/politics/archi…
6. He cites two main influences for his early Neoreactionary awakening. The first is patient zero for a lot of the faux intellectual hate over the last 20 years: Steve Sailer.

nymag.com/intelligencer/…
7. The second influence is Curtis Yarvin aka Mencius Moldbug, who was one of the Neoreactionary or Dark Enlightenment creators.

vox.com/2016/4/18/1143…
8. If you've ever heard the term Weimerica, it's because of Ryan Landry. His supposition is that America has become decadent, permissive, disgusting, and degenerate like the Weimar Republic in Germany before Hitler took power.
9. He railed against feminism, lesbians, homosexuals, transsexuals, Muslims, everyone with African heritage, Jews, city dwellers, and everyone that's left or even near the center.

Unless you're white, heterosexual, and want far right authoritarianism, you're bad or dumb.
10. White his articles are disgusting and his ideas reprehensible, his articles hid his "power level" or how truly racist he was.

On Twitter he showed less restraint rubbed elbows with open white supremacist and called for violence and murder against those he disliked.
11. Yet, the Daily Caller brought him in to author an article on Ryan's Weimerica. It's reminiscent of Trump's "American Carnage" inaugural address in tone and form.

dailycaller.com/2017/05/05/wel…
12. One bite from the hate apple wasn't enough for The Daily Caller, so they brought him back for another article.

dailycaller.com/2016/02/16/how…
13. That's not news any longer. Ryan wasn't the first or last racist extremist to grace the Daily Caller website. In fact, he was on brand for them in 2016.

splcenter.org/hatewatch/2017…
14. There was a lot of crossover from Social Matter, which is an NRx site, and the Daily Caller and Radix.

splinternews.com/leaked-emails-…
15. At Richard Spencer’s Radix he posted a meme a week. Apparently it's was a photo or contrast in images as a scene from Weimerica with a caption.

The images no longer show, but the captions live on.
16. You can read the botton of a sample of the images below to get a feel for what he produced for Radix. I'm not repeating it.
17. He also wrote an article about the opioid crisis for Taki's Magazine. He doesn't blame any of it on the pharmaceutical companies that flooded the country with drugs, but does blame brown people. That target is normal for Taki's though.

18. I forgot where was from, but Eyan Landry said he was most concerned about being found by his voice. I imagine that's why Weekly being gone doesn't bother him.

In the spirit of giving I'm going to post a lot of links to his voice. 🤣
19. Here's Ryan's interview with Richard Spencer:

20. Here's his interview with Matt Forney:

21. Here's his interview with Rebel Yell:

22. Here's his interview with Henrik Palmgren:

23. Here's his guest spot on the 100th episode of Myth of the 20th Century with his friend Adam Smith.

24. Finally, here are episodes 1-5 of Weimerica Weekly where sounds like an NPR host on valium on his own show.

25. He shows his power level in different ways in those interviews and there's some damning stuff.

What you haven't seen are any social media posts from Ryan here. Those will come later. It's juicy.
26. What's just as bad is what the man behind Ryan Landry does for a living and his pillar of the community stuff in his sleepy community. The juxtaposition between that and who he is as Ryan is shocking.

Fuck you later, Ryan.
27. My apologies. I mentioned Ryan contributing articles to Social Matter, but I neglected to mention he was the one recruiting other authors to the site. The only two other people mention were in the Splinter article linked above.
